Trend Report: Spring into Flats

I don’t know about y’all, but I love a good flat.  Admittedly, I am not necessarily a shoe person, but overall I love a versatile flat that can go with a nice pant, skirt or dress.  Often times, flats get  flack for being boring and not chic enough compared to their heeled cousins.  However, a new day has come and flats come in a variety of shapes, colors, and textures which can make them the go to closer for your outfit.  Trust me, just because you throw on a heel does not mean you have arrived darling, quiet the contrary.  A flat can be just as stylish and fashionable as heels, if not more appropriate for rounding out your overall look.

With the variety that you have with flats you should be able to find the one that fits you most.  Fashion rules are meant to be broken, but like with any shoes, squared toes are a HUGE no, no.  Just. Don’t. Do. It. Period.  Instead, look for the pointy and even rounded variety.  I love pointy toes because they slim down your feet while making the overall look more polished.

Check out some of these bold flats below.  Will you incorporate flats into you shoe-petoire this spring?  What’s your favorite style?
