I can’t say that we have had a real winter this season. While, the winters here are generally milder than other places, the weather has been a bit unseasonably warmer than I remember. This makes styling or transitioning into your winter wardrobe a bit tricky because you just don’t know what you are going to get. One day it’s 70 degrees and the next it’s 40.
The easiest way to deal with this is to be sure to keep several transitional pieces in your closet so that you can mix and match them with other more season appropriate items. Ponchos, blazers, maxi dresses and skirts, and shorts are perfect pieces to transition from spring, fall and to winter. Below I decided to pull out my culottes to show a little leg, while still respecting the slight chill of winter here in Georgia with my light layers.
