Top Five Beauty Must Haves you Should Try from the Month of November

The beauty products that I’m going to list below have been some of my favorites over the last couple of months with me finding myself reaching for these products on a daily basis in the month of November. Some of them are pretty practical for everyday, others are more of a treat for the weekend or a mental health day during the week. At any rate, I’m excited to share them with you all!

So, here we go. My top five beauty must haves that you should try from the month of November:

Neutrogena healthy skin primer

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Primer – This primer has been my go-to for the month of November for sure. I had it for a couple of months, but pulled it back out when I started creating my own tinted moisturizer for the fall. The Neutrogena Healthy Skin Primer offers some level of SPF in it (SPF 15) with an antioxidant blend to promote healthy skin. It helps to even out my skin and minimizes my skin looking oily after a long day of wearing makeup.

Beauty Blogger Tip: I love to use this to create my tinted moisturizer. I added my favorite foundation, favorite moisturizer, and this primer to create a tinted moisturizer that keeps my skin looking flawless all day. I shared how I created my tinted moisturizer over on my IG (@iamvmil) and will share how I do it again soon, so make sure you’re following me there for the tea.

mac pro longwear waterproof brow set

Mac Pro Longwear Waterproof Brow Set – this tinted brow gel is everything! I love the fact that it’s waterproof so once you put it on, it stays. If you have full eyebrows already and you want to go for a cleaned up natural look, this brow gel is definitely worth a try. I have it in the color Quiet Brunette.

Beauty Blogger Tip: I usually use this first to comb my brow hairs in an upward motion. I follow this with using my brow pencil by Benefit or Mac at the bottom to enhance the shape of my eyebrows and to get a clean line at the bottom. I then fill in my eyebrows with small strokes with the pencil. Afterwards, I take a spool brush and comb my eyebrows through while making sure that I’m blending out all of the products. To finish things off, I take concealer and clean up the bottom portion of my eyebrows (recently I have been skipping adding concealer on the top portion of my eyebrows) and then use the brow set again to brush through my eyebrows and set them.

pixi by petra liquid matte lip

Pixi by Petra Matte Lip – I LOVE these lippies. Y’all know that I love a good liquid matte, but some of my faves will literally suck out all of the moisture from your lips and that is a big no no for me since I already have pretty dry lips. I don’t care how great the pigment is, if my lips are going to feel raw or dry after wearing it, that’s a no for me. These don’t do that and I’m grateful for that. They have great pigment AND once I put them on I can’t feel them on my lips. Head to my IG to see swatches and me wearing different colors from this line over the next couple of weeks.

Beauty Blogger Tip: Wear a hydrating balm prior to wearing matte liquid lippies. Not only will your lips be hydrated, but it will make it easier to apply your lippie with precision.

winky lux balm in matcha

Winky Lux Lip Balm in Matcha – Beyond the packaging, the color of this lip balm, and how amazing it smells, it really does do what it claims: hydrates your lips. My lips feel soft and hydrated after wearing this, which is important because my lips struggle generally with hydration, but in the cooler months of fall and winter my lips are always on the struggle bus when I don’t moisturize them properly.

starskin vip revitalizing mask

Starskin VIP Revitalizing Mask – so, y’all know that I LOVE a good facial mask. It’s one of my favorite things to do when I am treating myself. The Starskin VIP Revitalizing Mask does not disappoint! This mask has everything you need for glowing and healthy looking skin after you use it. It smooths, hydrates, and nourishes your skin with ingredients such as colloidal gold for anti aging, coconut oil for moisturizing, evening primrose for smoothing, avocado oil for nourishment, rose hip oil moisturizing, and damask rose water for toning to name a few. This mask has everything in it. I would recommend this mask for when you travel and you need a skin pick me up and during a particular stressful week when you need that extra kick to your skin to make sure that you continue to slay despite your schedule in the skin department.
