Top 3 Drugstore Beauty Products

There are certain makeup items that you can splurge on and some that you can save on.  I very rarely purchase high-end lipstick, eyeliner, or mascara.  Recently, drugstore brands have done a good job at providing a wide range of options for consumers that serve as excellent dupes for some of our favorite high-end beauty brands.  This is especially true when looking at lipstick.  Remember, a couple of years ago you had to go to high-end brands to get vibrant and bold lipstick that actually were of good quality and lasted.  However, with the recent boom in the trend of bold and bright lipstick, drugstore brands have certainly stepped it up.

Check out my top 3 drugstore beauty products below that you have to add to your collection!

Recently, some of my favorite drugstore lipstick brands include Wet n Wild and Covergirl.  With Wet n Wild’s infamous Balm Stains (pictured above) and Megalast lipstick at $4 and under, they have made it super affordable to get a range of trendy colors and textures when it comes to lipstick.

My ultimate fave is the NYX Satin Finish pencil eyeliner and Maybelline Eye Studio Master Precise Ink Pen Liner.  The NYX pencil eyeliner goes on smooth and has an incredible lasting power.  The Maybelline ink pen eyeliner gives you the ability to do cat eyes with ultimate precision, while delivering intense color and lasting power.

I love a good drugstore brand for mascara and my go to is L’Oreal’s Miss Manga.  Talk about delivering long and voluminous lashes? The formula is light enough to not be clumpy, while the brush is able to catch all of your lashes to add a generous coat of mascara to create long and full lashes.

  1. Nice post, Venus! Thanks for the beauty buy tips. I am going to have to try that eyeliner pencil from NYX. I need something that will last long and not smudge or fade. I am also a big fan of L’Oreal mascara. Keep up the awesome posts!
