Spring Must Have: White Leather

As you’re prepping your wardrobe for spring don’t forget about or put away your leather (or faux leather) jackets.  Leather jackets are the perfect complement for spring weather since you will be doing some light layering, especially early on.  I really like the lighter colored leather jackets since they scream spring and feel a bit lighter just because of their color.  Also, light colored leather is kinda unexpected, especially a white leather one.  Right? Try this.  Think of a leather jacket in your mind. What do you see? A black leather jacket.  Black and leather jacket are almost synonymous with one another.  So adding a lighter leather piece to your wardrobe will keep things interesting and definitely on trend.

Wear it Unapologetically

First of all, I scored majorly with this white vegan leather moto jacket I picked up from Nasty Gal a couple of weeks ago during their 70% off sale.  I bought SEVERAL things from that sell including this jacket.  The jacket was originally about $200 and I got it for 70% off! You all know that I have this love for moto jackets and I’ve been adding to my collection, so this white one was right on time.  Of course, while I’ll likely wear it during all seasons, it is perfect for spring.

I decided to pair my moto jacket with distressed jeans, a body suit and white pumps for a clean and simple look.  I added my wide brimmed hat for personality and light accessories.  The focal point of this outfit is definitely the jacket and I wanted that to be apparent.  I can’t wait to style this jacket some more – I already have several ways in mind to rock it depending on the occasion.  This outfit is perfect for brunch, lunch or even an early dinner.  I would rock this look to run errands sans heels – yeah, your girl don’t necessarily rock heels while running errands.  Flats, please!

Would you rock this outfit? Do you own a couple of moto jackets? Did you shop the super good Nasty Gal sale?
