Spotlight: Men’s Holiday Casual

When you are out and about shopping  or visiting family for the holidays, you want your outfit to be comfortable, casual,  yet fashionable.  I don’t know about your family, but my family will call you out if they notice something off about your ‘fit and how you show up at the family gathering, so needless to say, you have to come correct (all in good fun, of course!). Layering is key for this time of year with the temperatures being all over the place and the fact that you will be in and outside.  Being able to put on and remove certain items of your outfit is key for comfort.


How to Wear It

Below, we decided to layer with some essentials along with some playful elements to incorporate his style personality.  We took distressed jeans and a polka dot button up to form the base of the outfit.  Then we added a quilted vest, scarf, and unique loafers to add layers, physically and personality wise, to the overall look.  When adding layers, you should keep the base of your outfit as close to neutral or with minimal or light details as possible so that you can add those elements in the layers in order for you to avoid them competing with one another.
