It’s been about 2 months since I’ve been using the Deity America Plant conditioner, shampoo, deep conditioner, oils and moisturizers and overall, I am impressed and a bit surprised by my hair’s response to the products. Let’s jump in quickly so that y’all can get to my demo/review video and see the products and my hair in action.
Deity America Haircare has been on the market for 15 years and is made of 12 plant extracts from Tibet, China that are aimed to accelerate hair growth. The Plant Shampoo and the Deep Penetrating Conditioner For Damaged Hair are their stand out products and the ones that I saw the most reviews on as I researched their product line. This is for good reason: my hair seems to like the shampoo as my scalp felt clean and was not stripped of its natural oils as I used it. I also noticed that my hair was shiny after using the plant shampoo and the conditioner – major points there. My hair seems to be head over heels for the Camellia Silk Serum Shine; my hair feels so much more manageable, silky and shiny after using this oil. I paired this with the Repairing Essence Daily Moisturizing Lotion and we are talking about heaven in a bottle for my hair. These two together seem to control my frizz and soften my hair.
The Deep Penetrating Conditioner For Damaged Hair was OK for my hair – it seemed to be too heavy for my hair and made it a bit greasy. This is not surprising since my hair does better with light deep conditioning products. If your hair prefers heavier deep conditioners I’d recommend trying this out because although my hair came out a bit greasy, I can still see it working well because of the manageability of my hair after using it – I will likely finish the tub anyway.
I still have a couple of serums that I want to incorporate into my haircare regimen from this line and of course will be letting you all know about those products in upcoming posts. In the meantime, enjoy the video!
