pinkklipstick Trend Report: Fall Shoe Game

One of my favorite things about Fall fashion is shoes.  I am not a big shoe person, especially in the Summer.  I know that sounds weird, but part of it is because I LOVE boots and booties and we know that you can’t wear those in the Summer, especially a Georgia Summer.  My favorite shoe site currently is JustFab.com.  I love their shoe selection and the convenience of having your own personal shoe “shop” based on your pre-entered preferences.  Below are some of my favorites from JustFab, showcasing various trends including bold colors and fringe detailing.  Check them out below!

How will you update your shoe game for the Fall? What trends can’t you wait to rock?

Fall Shoe Game

1. Ardenne

The fringe detailing on this bootie is chic and playful at the same time.  Pairing these with leggings, skinny jeans, or a skirt in order to highlight these bad boys are a must!

2. Mikaylah

I love the buckles, hardware and lacing of the shoe strings with this knee high boot.  I also love the “worn” look of them for a casual and effortless pulled together look.  I can see these paired with skinny jeans or leggings to add some drama to an otherwise laid back look.

3. Lawrence

Flats are one of my favorite go to shoes.  You can still add sex appeal and be chic in a pair of the “right” flats.  Lawrence does that by the leopard print. Leopard print is so perfect for the Fall and just downright fun! This animal print can go with many staples in your closet as it can also work as a not so neutral, neutral.

4.  Cole

I can totally see the military inspired trend still reigning supreme in Fall 2014.  Military inspired looks combine the best of both worlds: being both masculine and feminine depending on the accessories and layers you add to it.  These boots can be worn with just about anything from skinny jeans, leggings, skirts, and dresses.

5. Thaden

This is the ultimate “I have arrived” shoe.  The color alone is bold, but this shoe kept it going by adding the laser cut detailing, peep toe and sling back.  Talk about a quadruple threat, these shoes are everything.  Fall does not mean that you can’t wear color.  Quite the contrary.  I can see bold colors being a Fall must to complete any outfit and these shoes serve as the perfect outfit closer.

  1. Nice post, Venus! I like #3 & #5. I usually wear black or brown shoes. This time I am adding animal prints such as leopard and zebra. I am leaning towards tan and nude! I am also on the hunt for boots. Keep up the great posts!
