This past week I was invited to Fab’rik Suwanee for a Denim Dinner sponsored by Spanx denim and CURE Childhood Cancer with some of my favorite bloggers in the Atlanta area. Before we jump into the event, let’s talk about the significance of one of the sponsors: the CURE Childhood Cancer organization. CURE is a foundation that was founded in 1975 as a grassroots organization that seeks to increase the survival of childhood cancer, which it has done each year since its inception. CURE helps to increase the survival rate of childhood cancer by funding childhood cancer research and innovative training programs for those researchers and pediatric oncologists on the front lines battling this illness.
Attending this dinner in light of supporting such a great cause was enough for me to feel good about going and supporting Fab’rik as they support local philanthropic initiatives. In addition to chatting with the Fab’rik staff and blogger friends, we enjoyed light bites provided by Ippolito’s, wine, shopping, and were able to try on and take home denim from Spanx! The spread, as you’ll see in the photos below, was nothing short of impressive and I’m not surprised as Fab’rik is known for their great taste! Fab’rik is a boutique that is known for their high end pieces without the high end prices and extensive denim collection. Talk about a fashion connoisseur’s haven? I love it!
Before I let you all jump into the photos, I wanted to let you know about some cool things happening over at Fab’rik Suwanee and Fab’rik Mall of Georgia! They are offering my readers 20% off if you shop in-store at Fab’rik Suwanee or Mall of Georgia through October 31st! All you have to do is mention this post about the denim dinner!
