Floors and floors of fashion covering more than seven million square feet of space seems unreal right? Sure. Until you have visited AmericasMart located in Atlanta then that statement becomes overwhelmingly REAL.  Last week, I was invited to cover the Atlanta Apparel Market that showcased thousands of Fall/Winter 2014 and Spring 2014 fashion, accessory, shoe and jewelry vendors from temporary showrooms such as Blu Pepper to permanent showrooms such as BCBG and more.  In addition to showcasing vendors, Atlanta Apparel Market also presented fashion shows, daily struts (a “quickie” fashion show showcasing featured vendors), and educational presentations just for “style experts”.
Of course, you guys know that I was ready to put on my flats and see EVERYTHING.  First up for me was to catch the Underground Fashion show! The show was produced by David Goodrowe and Tim Hobby of Goodrowe | Hobby, and showcased seasonal items in a high energy and engaging show.  When I saw fur and leather going up and down the runway, I literally almost passed out…YES!  Check out the photos below from my first day at AmericasMart and be sure to check in tomorrow for a full recap of my second day experience!
