With the last couple of weeks of spring approaching, one of the trends I’ve been dying to rock has been flared jeans. A few weeks ago, I featured a trend report about flared jeans and how to rock them. So, I decided for this #OOTD post I would bring that trend to life in addition to rocking some of my last spring trend faves.

Flared jeans are versatile and can work on most people. I will say, if you are on the petite size height wise you will definitely have to be careful with the dimensions of this look. I’d recommend getting a slight flare on your jeans to afford you the same bell curve, but not as severe as to not give you an odd silhouette that may not be as flattering. Also, tailoring or shopping for the petite version of these jeans is key, as they are extremely long (I have to wear heels with mine and I’m 5’5!). As I mentioned in my trend report, these jeans look best with a chunky heel with them dusting the ground slightly.
I paired my flared jeans with a basic white button down, but I can see them working with tank tops, t-shirts, and cropped tops with vests for a bohemian hippie feel to them. The fit of these particular jeans are amazing! The flare is moderate (I’ve seen bigger!) and they are mid-rise. By now, you should have noticed that my favorite jeans are made my Express; they get my shape like no other brand, but Levi’s, does.
