Minimalist Fashion, Give Me More Camo

My obsession with camo has not ended and apparently, the rest of the world agrees. Camo is definitely having a moment and I’m here for it. Over Black Friday weekend, Alfred, my brother, and I went to JCrew and spotted a couple of camo elements. Namely these jeans with camo on the cuff. Subtle? Yes. But it sure as hell made a statement.

With that being said, I decided to add another camo piece to BLANK Wardrobe. I’ve actually been holding on to this piece since the launch, but held on to it because it didn’t fit the look I was going for in terms of the 10 pieces I selected for the Launch Collection. At first, the camo piece, a pull over, was supposed to be the top that matched the weekend jogger, but the camo patterns between the two were off. It ended up working out because my 10 pieces that actually made the collection served as a perfect introduction to the store for you all.

Wear it unapologetically

I decided to wear the camo pull over with distressed jeans, brown pumps and my Vera Bradley leather backpack. I wanted the camo to stand out, but I wanted to show how relaxed this look can be. This camo is lightweight, warm and super soft. You can layer this piece or you can wear it alone. Dress it up by adding a fur vest and black pants, or keep it casual by adding jeans or joggers to it. Versatility…you know that’s always key.

What I wore – Shirt: BLANK Wardrobe, Jeans: Express, Backpack: Vera Bradley, Shoes: Jessica Simpson
