Military Inspired Blazers

Military inspired looks are not meant to be full of fatigue or other expected military garb.  A great military look is unassuming and appear unintentional.  I like to incorporate military inspired pieces by the cut of the garment and play with the color a bit.  Rarely will you see me do a military inspired look that is green or fatigue.  However, if you choose to do so, incorporate these traditional elements in small and subtle ways to avoid looking costume-y and trendy.

How to Wear it

Below, I took a military inspired blazer in a red tweed fabric to soften the look a bit.  I paired my blazer with a throwback AR’RYLES faux leather pencil skirt, my favorite over-the-knee boots, and go-to fave of a purse.  To keep the military inspired thing going further, I added aviators to round out the look.

What I Wore: Blazer:, Skirt: AR’RYLES, Boots: Luichiny, Purse: Brahmin (similar), Sunnies: D&G
