Make your Man’s White Button-Up Feminine

I love shopping my husband’s closet.  When I shop his closet, I gravitate toward his cardigans, ties, and button-ups.  His cardigans and button-ups are generally safe and look flattering on us girls because you can play with an oversized look.  And his ties? I mean what’s more bolder than a woman wearing a tie?

How to Wear It

With the look below, I decided to take one of his white button-ups as my essential piece along with his Detroit fitted baseball cap.  To make the shirt and hat more feminine I paired them with coated – skinny jeans and tied the shirt at the waist.  To round out the look and play with more feminine and masculine elements I wore loafers and my snakeskin handbag.

What I Wore: Hat: New Era, Shirt: H&M (similar), Jeans: JustFab (similar), Shoes: JustFab, Bag: JustFab

  1. I looove this post, Venus! Great styling! I especially like how you were able to make your husband’s button up more feminine. The balance of baggy shirt and fitted skinnies are genius! I also like the soft neutral color scheme. Keep up the sensational work!
