Here is Why a Sleeveless Blazer is So Awesome

You have to love a great sleeveless blazer (also known as a vest).  They are the perfect transitional piece from summer into fall.  Sleeveless blazers are also versatile; giving you so much bang for your buck because you can layer with them endlessly.

How to Wear It

It was a scorcher this weekend, so I decided to do a transitional outfit that paired my sleeveless blazer with a dressy cargo pant and chunky-heeled gladiator sandal. To keep things a bit PG-13, I added a camisole underneath my blazer for coverage, but have seen this type of blazer worn without a shirt underneath.  To finish my outfit, I added my Brahmin bag (my all time favorite) and an embelished chain necklace from JustFab.

You will certainly see this sleeveless blazer over the next several months and probably well into spring.  I can see rocking this closet staple with skirts, dresses, and jeans.  Although, the sleeveless blazer has an edge to it, it can also play as a classic thanks to its modifications from our all-time favorite garment, the blazer.

What I wore: Sleeveless Blazer: Banana Republic (Similar), Cargo Pant: H&M, Shoes: Sam Edelman, Purse: Brahmin, Necklace: JustFab
