Full Skirts and Winter Stripes

So, I have this love and hate relationship with skirts. I wouldn’t call myself a skirt person, but I can certainly appreciate and throw on a good one from time to time. Full skirts or maxi skirts are my favorites because they are usually the most versatile and y’all know how I feel about versatility. Besides, full skirt and maxi skirts are certainly classics whether they’re trendy at the moment or not. And I’ll just leave this here: full skirts look great on just about every shape. They are super slimming because they usually hit you at the smallest part of your waist and we can all appreciate anything that does that.

Wear it unapologetically

I decided to pull out some of my Natt Taylor goodies that I purchased at a pop up shop in the fall. This full leather and mixed material skirt is one of my favorite wardrobe pieces. I love the look, the quality, and the fact that I will be able to pair it with different items in my closet for different looks. I paired my skirt with a fun pussybow striped shirt from Natt Taylor and finished the look off with OTK boots, wide belt, hat, and Brahmin bag for added texture. I look forward to trying this skirt out with other items from my wardrobe, but I think a waist length blazer with a simple camisole or tank underneath would look amazing!

Style Tip: Make this skirt ready for the office by wearing ballet flats, a cute skinny scarf tied at the neck, and a button up. Or, make it casual by pairing it with a cropped sweatshirt or t-shirt and slim sneakers or other casual flats.
