On Thursday, November 8th we hosted BLANK Wardrobe’s first event of the year, NOT YOUR AVERAGE POP-UP SHOP at Terminus Atlanta and it was a success. With over 60 people registered, the rain did not stop people from coming out.
This event was more than a pop-up shop – get the name of the event now? Along with shopping, attendees enjoyed networking while sipping on champagne and noshing on light bites. Attendees were also able to connect and learn from a panel of experts about how to leverage your personal and professional brand through the lens of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. Panelists included celebrity wardrobe stylist, Julian Lark, Morgan Stanley financial advisor, Melinda Sung, and yours truly. Alfred moderated the panelists and helped to keep the audience engaged. The panelist portion of the event went so well that we ended up having to stop people from asking questions with people even coming up to me after the panel ended to continue to ask questions.
I learned a lot from hosting and planning this event. It was my first time planning an event of this scale on my own. For the next event, I will definitely delegate more to keep things a bit more manageable. This event affirmed some of my strengths with how I could juggle multiple things to keep all the balls in the air appear effortless and I’m pretty proud about that. 🙂
We will definitely be hosting another one in 2019, so stay tuned. The next one will be bigger and better. We’ll keep you updated on all the deets when they are solidified. In the meantime, enjoy these captures from the NOT YOUR AVERAGE POP-UP SHOP event.
