As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, Totes & Tweeds, I wore an office appropriate outfit that can be transitioned to happy hour by subtly adding different accessories and making slight adjustments. Being able to transition office attire for happy hour is essential in today’s fast paced world, especially for us millennials who have a ton going on even beyond our 9 to 5s. There have been plenty of times that I needed to go somewhere after work, but was unprepared, or brought a whole new outfit with me to change into at the office that never really worked because I was missing a piece to bring the outfit altogether or it became wrinkled. So, a quick fix is adjusting the accessories and shifting certain items of the outfit.
Below, I kept the same outfit that I wore to work, but I ditched the tote and replaced it with a clutch from F & W Style called Rosé; metallic clutches have a way of instantly dressing up an outfit. I switched my flats to patent leather stilettos, tucked my shirt in, and added a statement necklace to bring the entire look together and make it a bit more jazzy for an after 5 happy hour.
