One of my favorite things about the cooler weather is being able to rock layers, especially switching out and styling my outerwear. Although, at times peeling layers off can be annoying, admittedly, they still add another element to styling that you cannot get in the spring and summer. I love rocking different outerwear, especially coats and jackets so I try to add one or two to my collection every year. Most of my coats and jackets are pretty clean and modern, however with some trendy elements to keep them current and timeless at the same time.
The coat below is by Guess and I purchased it several years ago. At the time, it stood out, but now it fits in perfectly with the black and white theme and slight obsession with patterns and textures. I decided to pair them with my go to over the knee Justfab boots, white levi skinny jeans, an off white turtle neck, my go to Brahmin bag, and Target infinity scarf.
What are you all’s go to layering technique to remain fashionable during the cold weather months?
