My obsession with black & white is not nearly at a stopping point or slowing down for that matter. I love how versatile, chic, and bold a black and white look can be. You can be unassuming or demand attention by playing with different textures and patterns with a black and white look.
The look below is definitely a risk for me as I do not always mix patterns, especially in this way. I intentionally wanted the patterns to not really match. Crazy right? There is something bold and flippant about not matching that stimulates the rebel side of me; the side of me that if you tell me to go left then I will certainly find a way to go right. Especially at this point in my life.
The pant that inspired the look are from Ese Nyc by siblings, Ladi and Abi Fatade. Inspired by their Nigerian roots, Ese Nyc incorporates playful and vibrant prints that definitely make styling their pieces fun yet a welcomed challenge. I decided to pair my Ese Nyc pant with a H&M peplum leather top, thrifted Ann Taylor shirt, and Stuart Weitzman white pumps. For a hint of luxury and a pop of interesting, I layered a Perry Street and a Loren Hope necklace from Rocksbox.
