Lately, I have been OBSESSED with wearing black and white, together or in monochromatic form. This is not necessarily abnormal of my style personality, I am more extreme, less flexible, tailored and structured in the fall and winter than I am in the spring and summer. Although, I am a bit more relaxed and bohemian in the spring and summer, I still find ways to add in structured cuts and outfit pairings with accessories. This is where I begin to play with color in different and bold ways with my wardrobe.
The outfit below is the perfect mix of playfulness with some added structure to bring the look together and to remain true to my style personality. The bright neon yellow pant are from Zara and fit like a glove and felt amazing! The color caught my eye immediately and I knew exactly how I wanted to style it right there in the store. Pairing the pant with black was a no brainer (as I am not ready to do away with my love of black completely) to create a stark contrast with the brightness of the pants. This play on color visually just looks incredible to me. I kept it pretty simple with the accessories and wore my go to spiked heels, envelope clutch and white rimmed sunnies. The red lip was done on purpose to add another pop of color to the mix in a subtle, but necessary way.
I see more colorful bottoms in my future, especially from Zara!
What I am wearing: Zara skinny stretch pant, Express essential shirt, Sam & Libby for Target spiked pumps, Versona envelope clutch, and H&M white rimmed sunglasses (old).
