Admittedly, I have fallen off of the train a bit on my fitness journey. My schedule has been a bit off, so I am getting back on the fitness train for sure. One of the ways that I have been re-energizing my fitness plan/goals is through incorporating more healthy snacks throughout the day. Snacking helps with cravings and hunger and therefore, make it less likely for you to cheat majorly for dinner or lunch. Eating snacks is also a great way to keep your metabolism in check and increase it so that you are burning calories faster and consistently.

3 Easy Healthy Snacks for Weight Loss
1. Greek Yogurt and Granola – I love this as an AM snack. The combo of the greek yogurt and granola will ensure that you are full until lunch time; full of awesome protein. My favorite granola is by Nature Valley in the Oats N’ Dark Chocolate flavor.
2. Frozen Fruit and Greek Yogurt – This is typically my PM snack when I am craving ice cream or something sweet. The frozen fruit (I usually do strawberries or blueberries) adds a touch of sweetness to the greek yogurt (Chobani Plain or Vanilla are my favorites). Because it’s cold, it makes it easier to trick your mind into thinking you are eating a big delicious bowl of mint chocolate chip ice cream…
3. Air Popped Popcorn – This is my go to when I need something crunchy and salty. My favorite is the lightly salted air popped popcorn from Trader Joe’s. With about 110 calories for 2.5 cups, you get the feeling of cheating without actually cheating. Can you say winning?
